Routine Examinations & Oral Cancer Screenings
Regular dental examinations are crucial to early detection of tooth decay and oral diseases. Discovering these problems early preserves the tooth's original structure and functionality and saves the patient money. Early detection allows us to diagnose and treat dental problems before they reach an advanced stage and become much more difficult to treat.
During an examination we will:
- Inspect your mouth for oral cancer
- Inspect your gums for signs of disease
- Inspect your teeth for signs of decay
- Examine X-rays for problems not obvious from a visual examination, such as tooth decay
- Assess the status of current restorations such as fillings
I would hide my teeth because they had yellowed over the years. Dr. Farless recommended Zoom whitening. Now my teeth are sparkling white and I love my smile again!
