Porcelain Crowns
A crown is a special dental restoration that covers or "caps" a tooth. Besides strengthening a damaged tooth, a crown can be used to improve the tooth's appearance.
All of the crowns we make are porcelain and are made of the strongest and most translucent materials on the market. We provide same day crowns with our CEREC® A/C.
We might recommend a crown to:
- Replace a large filling when there isn't enough tooth remaining
- Protect a weak tooth from fracturing
- Restore a broken tooth
- Attach a bridge
- Cover a dental implant
- Cover a poorly shaped tooth
- Cover a tooth that has had root canal treatment

Herbert is retired. He had a 40 year old gold inlay in his front tooth and discolored teeth on either side of the inlay. We made three porcelain crowns for him which match the other crowns in his mouth. He is such a nice man and so appreciative of our treatment.
Dr. Farless is so nice and he's very gentle. He stopped several times just to ask me if I was okay. I used to hate to go to the dentist. Now, it's not so bad.
